The situation along a large but quiet open space on the inside of a city block, together with an optimal orientation towards the sun give this apartment qualities that are very welcome in the dense city center of Antwerp.
The design of the interior renovation maximizes the possibilities of the existing. Openings between the different rooms are enlarged and partition walls are removed. The old wooden trusses connect the different parts of the open space that spreads over different levels.
The wooden finishings of floors and furniture further enhance the coherence of the whole and add to the overall warm and natural feeling. Black details give a subtle contrast and mingle with loose furniture.
