The renovation of this old row house is highly defined by the wish of the young couple to have an open relation between several functions on first floor and ground floor. The double height space between kitchen and living room makes views and communication possible between the study, the bathroom and the other rooms downstairs while it brings daylight deep into the house. Nevertheless all the spaces stay clearly defined with each its specifically textured ceiling and the perspectives carefully directed.
