Opening up the house towards the garden and the creation of larger spaces are the main incentives for the house extension. To do so, the width of the terrain is made better use of, and the recent extension demolished. Three generous spaces were created, almost equal in size and proportion, but differing in its relations to the gardens and to each other. The fireplace in the central block adopts a central role in the different perspectives. Conceptually also the functions can be interchanged, making other future uses possible. The new facade emphasizes the internal organization with a regular and elegant rhythm in the full height windows and brick parts.
